The method of
Simulated Process printing was developed out of the need to print
bright photographic type images on dark garments. Printing a dark
garment with traditional CMYK/4-color process separations has never
worked. The ink is translucent by nature and when printed on a dark
garment has no brightness or opaque characteristics. Since the method
of simulated process is an art based on trial and error, anyone
that offers simulated process has their own way of producing the
color separations.
The way Missingink separates the art in addition to how the actual
printing press is set up is why our exclusive simulated process
produces such a high quality image. The process is very labor intense.
For this reason, a minimum order of 144 pieces is required to create
a design using this method.
Missingink has not left this process to just dark garments. Our
simulated process works on all colors of garments including white.
If you are looking for a high end solution to your next T-shirt
project, Missingink's simulated process is the solution.
